Frankfurt, September 20, 2018 – Leading web security specialist Link11 has been certified by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) as a “Qualified DDoS Mitigation Service Provider within the meaning of §3 BSI Act”. With the BSI certification Link 11 is recognised as a recommended qualified security service provider for critical infrastructure. According to §3 of the BSI Act, accredited providers have demonstrated advanced capabilities that enable them to advise and support providers and operators of critical infrastructures to assist with the securing of their IT infrastructure.
The Link11 DDoS protection is a core service on the Link11 Cloud Security Platform and fulfils the extensive quality criteria of the BSI. The BSI also certifies that the DDoS protection experts have a high level of specialist knowledge when it comes to defending against and coping with DDoS attacks. By qualifying as a DDoS mitigation service provider, Link11’s compliance with data protection regulations has also been confirmed by the BSI.
